Keith Murphy is a faculty member in the anthropology department at the University of California, Irvine. After graduating from the U of C he very briefly performed with Ultimate Improv in Los Angeles, before realizing he needed to finish his PhD. Inspired by his experience with Off-Off Campus, he teaches and writes about improvisation, language, and social theory.
